What negative content have the attackers distributed?

There were a number of false accusations raised in the attackers’ content, and we’re happy to address each assertion concisely.

  1. Attackers claim lack of technical expertise
On various occasions through previously unknown blogs and using “purchased” social media accounts, the attackers are claiming our team has limited technical expertise. This is entirely false and is easy to verify:

  2. Attackers claim lack of business expertise
We shouldn’t even have to address this false accusation; it is probably enough to just check out our team and advisory board online and skim through everyone’s LinkedIn profile, but we’ll save you some time and post some information here:

  3. Attackers target the personal space of the founders
On a personal level, these attackers are targeting a few facts that are supposed to be incriminating but, in fact, are nothing more than a baseless attempt to show the founders in a negative light:

  4. Attackers question the trustworthiness of our team
We suspected some attacks because we’d heard of them happening with many other blockchain-related project, . However, the Paragon team did not expect that those attacks, accusations, and trolls would be so baseless and blunt. We are open to accept healthy criticism, but to call our team untrustworthy is beyond silly. Just browse our team’s LinkedIn profiles, and you’ll see a very solid and impeccable team that, if compared, would be superior to most of the top recent ICOs:

  5. Attackers target the business model
Attackers are claiming that the business model is not benefiting anybody but the founders of Paragon. That is false. It’s quite the opposite, in fact. Paragon consists of five core elements:

  6. Attackers target celebrity endorsements
Of course, The Game is not consulting us on hybrid implementation of our blockchain on Ethereum and IOTA. But a curious party will learn a lot with a little due diligence about The Game’s involvement in the legal cannabis industry. The Game’s name is known in the industry. We value The Game’s first-hand knowledge and ability to create awareness - and are very proud of our great collaboration.

  7. Attackers make misleading comparisons with other blockchain projects
Trolls and spammers are attacking us on social media with failed attempts to mislead the community by comparing us to other cryptocurrencies. It’s comparing apples to oranges.

  8. Attackers question pre-sale numbers
Usually, presales happen behind closed doors. We are being open and transparent with our presale by providing numbers related to our presale at different milestones.

  9. Attackers question our launch status
We’re not trying to sell a golf course membership without a golf course. On October 22, as promised in our whitepaper, we will release a public beta of the platform for the PRG tokens; on the same day that tokens will be distributed to all purchasers.

  10. Attackers question our roadmap
As described in our whitepaper, our roadmap heavily depends on the amount of tokens that we will be able to sell and the decisions our community is going to make.

  11. Attackers question the value of PRG tokens
Attackers are trying to present PRG tokens as a standalone product and so they are missing many aspects that bring it greater value.

  12. Attackers falsely claim Paragon is just a hype and not aiming to solve real problems
It is really difficult to be a cannabis startup. If you are not one — it is impossible to understand the struggle. To save your time researching, here is a few a few of the complications:

  13. Attackers question the legal status of the Paragon crowdsale
We exchange PRG tokens for other cryptocurrencies. The PRG token is a product. It is a product built to access and use Paragon’s online and offline platforms and ecosystem.

  14. Attackers question transparency
They mostly target our developers, saying it is uncommon for the developers not to publish their GitHub accounts and show the source code of a PRG smart contract and/or our product source-code.

  15. Attackers try to scare the general public with a planned dumping
Everyone on our team and advisory board, including large whales and early stage purchasers, are here because we all believe in Paragon, the PRG token future, and the good cause we are all standing for. Our team is legally bound by the terms outlined in the whitepaper, that is, not more than a 20% liquidation during the first calendar year. This is where we see a value for ourselves; we are here for the long-run, and we’re here to hold.

  16. Baseless and false scam and compliance accusations
Scammers are attacking every blockchain project they see. Without any evidence or justification they troll popular social platforms and shout scam. It’s like throwing mud at a project, then claiming it’s dirty.. Their goal is not to save your from buying a useless token; their goal is to extort money from the ICOs and token crowdsale campaigns.

  17. Attackers spread false information about our hard cap
Attackers are falsely claiming our crowdsale is uncapped, and that is not true; we have a hard cap, and it is written in the whitepaper and on our website.

  18. Ways attackers extort and scam Paragon
We have recently been under attack by a criminal organization based on an internet forum site ‘Reddit’. Incidents included scamming and bullying/extortion. We believe some current media activity is directly related to those incidents.
