Is it just me or are ICOs slowly getting out of control?
ICOs are here to fund projects that have potential and a vision, but lately they are just getting more and more abused.
Of course, a lot of them have good ideas behind them, there are also a lot of scams, but it seems that nowdays everyone makes an ICO for everything.
Are you making a new app? Make an ICO
Making a website? Make an ICO
...your not making anything? Well make an ICO anyway
There are some ICOs that raised thousands or millions for basically...nothing.
And they all have something in common, the description.
For ICO's where you can clearly see that there is no pointful idea behind it, there is always that standard description, that it's save, neutral and anonymous. The only problem is, it's the description that fits almost every coin out there.
And the worst part is that people actually invest in these "projects".
Well, my point is, before you invest in something maybe do a little research beforehand, get to know the project and also look at other options. Because also if it's not a scam, if there is no actual idea behind it, then it won't have a chance in the future to actually grow.
