Eristica’s ICO date and SetWit2x!

Eristica moves the date of the ICO. The new date will be set for early December.

These changes occur because of the very important events that will take place on November 13 and 16. That’s right, hard forks Bitcoin Cash and SegWit2x. If you don’t know what it is and why it affects the conduct of ICOs, we are here to explain.

Segwit2x it is a technology that is made to make the Bitcoin network faster and more flexible. It is so simple as it seems though. SegWit2x can provoke short-term complications and conflicts in the network. Perhaps SegWit2x will be without strong protection against replay. It means that transactions after the fork, either BTC or B2X, will look the same and both can be valid for both chains. Therefore, when you transfer coins on the BTC blockchain, you can accidentally spend an “equivalent” B2X on the SegWit2x’s blockchain.

A hard fork Bitcoin Cash operates in the same way but it uses cryptocurrency Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin.
