What is whitelisting and why is it required for an ICO?

With the recent announcement of the start date for our upcoming ICO (July 11th 2018), anyone interested in participating should complete the whitelisting form by visiting https://jsecoin.com/whitelsiting

The whitelisiting is only necessary for anyone planning on participating in the ICO. If you are not planning on purchasing JSE tokens during this time then you don’t have to do anything. It is absolutely fine if you currently have JSE tokens in your JSEcoin account and you are simply planning on continuing to mine. The tokens that you have pre mined are completely unaffected by the ICO, and you will continue to have full access to them before, during and after the ICO is complete. Similarly the tokens distributed during the ICO hold the same value as those that have been available to mine. Once listed on exchanges these tokens will all have the same value.

If you are planning on participating in the ICO It is a good idea to familiarise yourself with this process in advance. A step-by-step guide to participating in the ICO can be seen here https://jsecoin.com/HowToParticipateInICO.pdf
What is the purpose of whitelsting?

The primary purpose of the whitelisting process is to approve an investors eligibility to participate in the ICO and help ensure that we adhere to regulatory requirements. Performing this task before the ICO begins will promote a smooth ICO process, and reduce the chance of you missing out on being able to participate. In a nutshell we are trying to ensure that you are a genuine user.

You accept our terms of sale.
You confirm that you are not from a country banned from participating in ICOs.
We have appropriate proof of identity, including additional checks for investments over 10K in order to comply with KYC/AML regulations

It is important to be as accurate as possible with your planned investment amount. As mentioned any investment over 10K will require a further level of ID verification and your whitelisting approval will be based upon this.

Should you have standard whitelisting and then try to invest over 10K you will not be able to do so and could end up missing out on making the investment you had planned. We understand that your level of investment may change depending on the market conditions at the time, so we recommend that if there is a chance that your investment will go over 10K, that you submit the appropriate ID.

Your ICO whitelisted address is listed on the platform ICO page. Should you wish to change any of the details on your whitelisting form you can do this by resubmitting the form or contacting me at https://jsecoin.com/en/support/contact/

If you haven’t submitted the whitelisting form then please do so as soon as possible at https://jsecoin.com/whitelisting
