San Francisco, CA - CoinStarter, a coin-based fundraising blockchain platform, proudly announces a fourth quarter appointment of two new advisors to its small, but growing team of founding members.  Joining the platform are Ken Tachibana (UK) and Michael Christensen (Den).  The combination of their respective backgrounds, experience, and presence in the cryptocurrency ecosystem will help propel CoinStarter to become the world leader in token-based fundraising.

As the founder and managing principal of Intelligence Capital and global chairman of Cyber Exec, Ken Tachibana brings to Coinstarter “a 30-year track record of success in venture capital, start-ups, technology, and Silicon Valley,” says founder and CEO Cornell Holloway.  In addition to his current high-level positions in cyber security and ICO funding, Tachibana recently co-founded Digifund, an LA-based blockchain FinTech startup that invests in late-stage seed companies that are disrupting large markets.

Born in the sake capital of Nada, Japan, Ken Tachibana is a graduate of Stanford University, where he obtained master’s degrees in both computer science and applied economics.  He then received his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business.  As a Japanese native and tri-linguist (Japanese - English - Portuguese), he has worked as an advisor for financial organizations in Berlin, Spain, Silicon Valley, and throughout the UK and Asia.

Tachibana will bring CoinStarter his passion for brainstorming and integrating impactful ideas for decentralized new generational structures in the ICO and blockchain infrastructure space.  His senior-level professional network encompasses both the U.S. Fortune 500 and Global 2000 spaces, making Tachibana a true asset to CoinStarter’s position in the international corporate market.

Alongside him, as a European pioneer in creating innovative eCommerce solutions in its early days in the nineties, Christensen brings a promising track record of his own, having worked on more than 300 projects at multiple Danish tech companies, including Inspari A/S, No Zebra, and CodersTrust.  He is a tri-linguist himself, with fluency in Danish, English, and German.

In 2004, Christensen created and founded Wicked RGB, a comprehensive collection of international elite computer artists that provided the special effects for some of Hollywood’s most elaborate films.  He was a finalist in 2008 for the best entrepreneur in Denmark and, despite his accomplishments in upper-level management, still believes in getting his hands dirty in complex code and architecture

Currently, Christensen is the CTO and co-founder of Upodi, an enterprise grade subscription business management platform that empowers users to stay enabled, monetize recurrent relationships, and provide tailor made customer experiences.  His proven ability to turn ideas into products and enterprise solution services will be a welcomed asset at CoinStarter.
