Every successful ICO has a brilliant and strong team behind. Both of these project, Essentia and DIW, have great teams but from first look Essentia has more balanced team including Matteo Gianpietro Zago, who has been advisors to so many blockchain startups.

Mirco Mongiardino is the product lead and Vladimir Holubovych is the operation lead, having years of experience. On the other hand, DIW have Stephanos Constantinou as CEO. Both the teams look good but again Essentia has edge of more balanced team with relative experience. Socially, Essentia has more popularity on Telegram, Twitter and Facebook. DIW has followers but not as much as Essentia have.

If we talk about the ICO, then DIW is already in its final phase of ICO and has set the token price of 1ETH=8000 DIW. DIW has raised 1634 ETH from crowd sale which is good but still not enough. Essentia is still to announce its Pre-ICO and ICO this year but on contrary it has worked on its product and has developed a fully functional product which surely will be the limelight of its ICO. Essentia has set the token price same as DIW but definitely it has advantage of great team and fully functional product. Essentia is the project to look forward for as it has everything to kickoff, from perfect team to brilliant product. I will definitely participate in its ICO.
