INTRODUCING SPRINGROLE

There has been a desperate need for good jobs, promotions and good living; leading to parental resolves in giving their kids quality education aimed at seeing such dreams realized. After tertiary school graduation from respective higher institutions and having gotten a kick-off job; individuals with big dreams still move on to further their studies; go for seminars, acquire relative skills and professional qualifications. This is all aimed to be better qualified professionally for tomorrow challenges.

But the impacts of these qualifications are limited to your reach out at their places of need. This limitation is no doubt why the likes of linkedin came into being and has really done well reaching out on behalf of their subscribers. But such platforms are still riddled with lots of shortcomings, amongst which includes;

• Influx of resume bearing fake credentials
• Lack of synchronized and reference check database of subscribers aimed at an efficient, fraud-free and prompt
  recruitments.
• Lack of or Inactive participation of academic institutions, companies, skillset boards etc. for endorsements,
• Free and Ineffective skillset endorsement system without a feedback mechanism; leading to spam and irrelevant
  endorsements of subscribers profile.
• Lack of compensation, etc.

In view of this and many more; job seekers, educational institutions, skillset organizations, companies and job boards look forward to an innovative new bride that can take them to the expected paradigm shift right the above wrongs. That and many more can be found in a project called; the “SPRINGROLE”.

SpringRole is a blockchain based professional profile verification and attestation protocol founded in 2014 by Kartik Mandaville and developed by SpringRole Inc. alongside Project Spring Foundation. The project has witnessed increased user base and revenue growth within the space of 3 years and still counting, and is interested in a complete overhaul of the recruitment industry. Contrary to the centralized usage of unstructured and unverified profiles in the recruitment industry; Springrole is embracing the blockchain technology to provide a decentralized, transparent and secure platform that will fine-tune the industry into a robust, synchronized and tokenized ecosystem. The following initiatives and functionalities have been credited to the SpringRole’s coming on board;

• Resume Parser: Parsing PDF documents into structured JSON using word embedding
• Recommendation Engine: Spotting a link between a job description and a candidate profile
• Skills Project: A database of skills projected as the largest

With such initiatives and more, Springrole is offering us;

• Real and verifiable resume uploads/database
• Verifications and Attestations to the Resume backed credential uploads
• A synchronized database for companies and recruiting institution to conduct reference checks
• A money making tool for participants, to encourage active participation from subscribers, etc.

In essence; SpringRole is a professional and decentralized platform aimed at fostering professional trust between individuals, businesses and schools through endorsements, attestations, verifications and provision of a synchronized database for Reference checks; all within an ecosystem fuelled by a crypto token called the “SPRING”. While Reference checks are processes through which companies utilizes background information to check the validity of details contained on a candidates Resume; endorsements, attestations and verifications were the processes that made them all possible.
