What is Rubius?
Rubius is a blockchain software company. Our goal is to create products and services that leverage blockchain technology and decentralized applications.
Our goal is to make cryptocurrency and blockchain technology easier to access and popularize. Currently, our main focus is on the development of Aryl, an intuitive encryption wallet and payment application. Together with Aryl, we will also develop an encryption exchange platform called Rubiex.
Fundraising
In order to raise funds for the Aryl project and our business, we will start ICO on May 15, 2018. We will provide our own cryptocurrency Rubius, which is named after our company. To avoid confusion, we will quote our cryptocurrency through its stock symbol: RUBY.
RUBY is an autonomous, decentralized virtual currency that runs on the Ethereum Token Standard (ERC20). These tokens are designed as utility tokens and are used as cryptocurrencies similar to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The main purpose of Aryl is to make cryptocurrency and blockchain technology more accessible and consumer friendly, so people are more accustomed to using it. As with any new technology, cryptocurrencies and blockchains take a while to reach the public.

Send, receive and request
In the Aryl app, users can send, receive or request payments using fiat currency, Ethereum or Ether tokens, making them available for both traditional currency and cryptocurrency transactions.
Wallet function
Aryl provides users with a number of discrete wallet features, such as creating new Ethereum wallets (the key pairs for these wallets are stored on iOS devices); viewing the balance of Ethereum and Ether tokens; and changing the wallet password.
In-iMessage usage
Users can send and request payments directly from their iMessage conversations.
If the user sends or requests a payment from a contact who does not have an Aryl account, the system will prompt the contact to register with Aryl to complete the transaction.
Contact a friend
The home screen has all recent activities (ie requests, payments, events, etc.) from the user's friends. These friends will voluntarily collect from one person's contacts or connect to a social media account (ie Facebook). In a later version of Aryl, we plan to provide users with a secure messenger to allow them to chat

Aryl's Switch feature reduces the risk of using cryptocurrencies by keeping the user's funds in a more secure currency and then automatically switching them to the preferred cryptocurrency when sending a payment.
Exchange function (Rubiex)
Aryl will allow users to purchase Ethereum, RUBY and other selected Ethereum tokens using their credit/debit card or bank account. Alternatively, users can exchange their tokens for the legal currency of their choice.
To use the exchange feature, we will require users to register the Rubiex app by providing additional KYC (know your customer) information to prevent money laundering and fraud.
