Coinbase commented on rumors about the possible addition of Ripple.
The  popular American exchange kriptovalyut Coinbase has responded to the  information spread in the community that in the near future on its site  can be added to the crypto currency Ripple. As in previous times, the stock exchange failed to please holders of XRP.
The version that Ripple could be added to Coinbase after Bitcoin Cash  reappeared on Monday, when users linked the new Fast Money transfer to  CNBC with the participation of Ripple CEO Bred Garlinghouse and Coinbase  President Asiff Hirji with the preparation of an important  announcement.
To many, this version seemed convincing, and the Ripple rate rose from  $ 0.90 to $ 1.07 in a short time only to fall again below $ 1 after an  official denial.
In its Twitter, the company explained that the procedure for listing  Crypto-Currency has not changed since January 4, when rules were  published that provide for an assessment by internal experts, after  which an official announcement should follow.
"Any assertion of the opposite is not true and is not confirmed by the company," Coinbase writes.
To date, Ripple remains the only crypto currency from the top five, not represented on Coinbase. Probably, the American stock exchange, like many users, does not welcome the excessive centralization and purpose of XRP. Nevertheless,  if investors continue to show sufficient interest, there is nothing to  prevent Coinbase from listing XRP in the future.
