This means that they are really flexible, allowing them to cater to different needs and services requested by various different companies rather than just serving one.
Many people Freelance just due to the flexibility of workloads, similar salary compared to that of a full time developer, being able to usually work from their comfort zone. With the rise of Internet connectivity, this has just made it even more easier for them.
This also means that they spend much lesser on hiring them but it comes with its share of drawbacks too. The fact that freelancers are used as developers means that there is not much coordination between different teams or individual freelancers. It also means not much of an relationship is built between the employer and the employees.

Conclusion
There has been no sort of development in the way Consulting and IT firms interacted with each other. They were, at most of the times, not able to see and provide what the other person wants and ending up in spending a lot of the budget for something unfinished or not as polished as it could get.
This project aims to solve this and has really good token economics in place for this to happen. They just need to focus on gaining partnerships and must keep in mind that they are going head to head against a lot of well-established and deep pocketed players that have been in the field for quite some time.
