Imagine being rewarded with more cost-efficient insurance policies for sharing data from your health tracker. Or regular kickbacks for data about your driving habits. Resulting in bespoke digital insurance policies tailored to your lifestyle.
Enter: Insureum, meaning insurance + Ethereum. Data sharing is going transparent. The future of InsureTech is here.

OK, What is Insureum?

Insureum (ISR) is an ERC20-based token. Insurance agencies will use it to incentivize policyholders to share anonymized data about their lifestyles. In turn, this data can be used by insurance agencies to create better insurance policies. ISR can be bought with Ethereum, and can be sold or traded away. Policyholders can even pay their insurance premiums with it.
Our lives are ultra-connected through the Internet of Everything. We generate massive amounts of data every day. It’s about time consumers were rewarded for it.

Why is it needed?

  • Because younger generations no longer feel like they need traditional insurance products. But their data can be used to help create bespoke insurance policies that cater to their unique needs.
  • Because the insurance underwriting process is not time or cost-effective. According to reports, these costs can be reduced by at least 30% if the processes are automated and digitized.
  • Because insurance companies need this data, but policyholders are reluctant to dish it over without incentives.

We are getting a positive reaction from investors […] We aim to create a brand-new insurance ecosystem where insurers develop more customized products and developers and consumers share the profits. With the Insureum Protocol, the insurers can be more agile and digital-based, and developers can find easier way to monetize their services, consumers will enjoy the better insurance products tailored to their lifestyles.

Just in time for EU Insurance Companies

According to a new law being enforced from May of this year, all personal data collected and used by organizations in the European Union must be properly paid for or discarded. Europe, Insureum has you covered.

Insureum, by Zikto

Zikto is a Korean company that started as a wearable device brand in 2014. Through the past four years of gathering and processing data, we’ve found a large market for it in the insurance industry. We are currently partnered with Korean insurance and financial conglomerates such as KB Financial Group, Kyobo Life Planet and SK Planet. With Insureum, Zikto will use blockchain technology to disrupt the staid insurance industry.

The Insureum token pre-sale will be from May 30th, and the public sale starts in May. ISR is paid with Ethereum. To learn more about Insureum and get in on the token sale, visit our website.
