I really enjoy Jordan Petersons talks and interviews. I've watched some of his class videos as well. He has a pretty refreshing takes on topics that are both interesting and compelling. He has had an influence on how I see my own theological perspectives, and the way that those points interact with one another.

I've always been a bit of an Idealist, in both senses of the word, but listening to the way that he explains things has introduced an element of practicality that I did not have before. Its created a sense of positive tension, where my Idealism informs my Practicality, and the practicality reinforces my Idealism. Its a curious state, as I have previously had negative tension in this area.

In this interview, talking about the themes in life, it brings me back to how connected everything is, and how the Ideal has made Himself present to those of us within the world. Its not just things that have come from humanities experience, but things that have been woven into the fabric of reality by our Creator.

I'll probably write on this topic this weekend, but for now I hope you listen and enjoy.
