Around the world identical twins are still a source of fascination for the public who are attracted to the freakshow spectacle of two people who look the same. While some identical twins pursue their own individuality, others actively nurture their identicality. In this film Mark Dolan goes in search of the world’s closest twins on a journey that takes him from Middle America to Thailand and finally Los Angeles. Along the way he meets the winners of America’s Most Identical Twin Contest, identical twins married to identical twins, a pair of identical twins who married the same man, and identical twins who claim they have psychic powers and even share the same soul. But at what cost does their twin bond come? And could they ever live apart?
