At IFA 2017, Dell announced a new rugged tablet naming Dell Latitude 7212, is designed to withstand the most brutal environments. It can handle drops, shocks and vibration along with water, blowing dust and sand, humidity and extreme operational temperatures from -20 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit (-29 to 63 degrees Celsius).
The new Dell Latitude 7212 features a 11.6-inch 1080p display with configuration options of 6th or 7th Generation Intel Core I-series 15 watt processors. It has 16GB of RAM and up to a 1TB of PCIe SSD and is available with Windows 10 Pro or Windows 7 Pro. It also comes with hot-swappable batteries and claimed to offer up to 19 hours of battery life with dual batteries
The new Dell Latitude 7212 comes bundled with external battery charger that provides on-the-go charging of up to 2 extra batteries for extended battery life. It also comes with 4th generation Dell Quad-Cool passive and active thermal management system. Connectivity options on the tablet include USB-C, GPS, and an optional 4G LTE modem.
