Faith. We are told it is a shield. Its use has action associated with it, not merely mental assent. So what is your faith based upon? It is not a shield of doctrine. That is man’s words and ideas. It should be faith in The Most High Elohim, and that He will do what He says He will do. He always keeps His promise. He has given us The Way to return to a relationship with Him. That Way is His Word made flesh, His Son and our Messiah, Yeshua. After accepting Messiah Yeshua’s sacrifice in our place, we should continue to walk in the instructions given by our Heavenly Father for how to live. This Way brings Life! Choose Life!
