Apologies again for missing day-8 of these hearings. I will put up the transcript and evidence from day-8 for you all to read.
I have been listening to day-9 whilst typing out this post and it appears that the lady giving evidence(Michelle Foster. Former residential support worker at Beechwood) was a social worker labelled as "a trouble maker" by her superiors.
Michelle spent time in care as a child and because of this she has sort a career as a support worker(Not to be confused with a social worker) to help those who have been placed in care. From what I have already heard it seems we are going to hear a truthful account of how things were at Beechwood carehome(At least for the time she was employed there). This will be a refreshing change from the norm and it will be good to hear from a member of the Beechwood staff who there for the right reasons. There didn't seem to be many like her in any of the homes in question, so this should be a very revealing day of evidence.
Below you will find the live feed for day-9 and the itinery for the whole day ahead. For the benefit of you all I have also added a screenshot from a UKColumn report that depicts all of the carehomes in question.

Can I ask, to your knowledge, was evidence submitted to IICSA from Melanie Shaw? I have heard a claim that it was but also denials from UKColumn.

Hello there and thanks for the question. As far as I know Melanie Shaw and her evidence have been overlooked, to put it lightly. She requested to be a core participant but was later jailed for spurious reasons.
Glad to hear you are viewing the UKColumn and even happier to see you on steemit :) I assume you are from the UK, would that be correct?

thanks for getting back to me.
Yep, I'm English. I'm also a UKColumn subscriber. However I heard Mickey Summers on Richie Allen saying that Melanie Shaw's testimony had been submitted in writing to the IICSA panel. However, I couldn't find any evidence to support his statement, hence my question.
Sorry to impose but can you recommend other Brits on Steemit who share the kind of concerns raised by UKColumn? We seem to be few and far between on here.

We are spread very thinly on steemit but @pennsif hosts a radio show on discord. He is from Wales, but don't let that put you off(Just kidding @pennsif), so you should find plenty of usefull info and like-minded folk on there. Hope this helps you out a little.

Hi @article61, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I noticed that @failyprotection doesn't exist on Steem. Did you mean to write @familyprotection ?
