Later Night Drawing & Thinking

As the world wants to pretend it's stalling or ending, I'm going to keep working on commissions or new pieces. I feel like Kristian Stewart in Melancholia. There was an absurdity to her character that as things became more dire she became the calm and rational one as opposed to her sister that more or less pitied her and experienced elevated anxiety towards the ending of the world.

That is of course a bit exaggerated. I I don't think the world is ending quite yet....maybe not at the hands of a virus like this. The economy might take some time, fuck, maybe we're facing starvation for when our businesses close if theg haven't already closed and we run out of money. Delivers haven't stopped though. Our environment and population isn't to the chaos of Soylent Green or even better it's source material "Make Room MakenRoom". So what happens?

I've been jokingly calling this the lame apocalypse blaming the Large Hardon Collider for placing us in a terrible dimension. Perhaps humanity has just peaked...and old people really fear their mortality.

In the states mostly old folks are in charge, they refuse change and lack compassion from what I see and having a database at our fingertips has not made them any smarter.

Even with the risk of running out of money and food, I still have art supplies.
