What is Huobi?

Huobi is a Chinese cryptocurrency trading platform and exchange based in Beijing. It was founded in September 2013 by a computer engineer named Leon Li who works with Oracle prior to the founding of Huobi. It is one of the largest digital currency exchanges in China. The headquarters is located in Singapore and operated by Huobi Global Team. The exchange operates from Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and has operating offices in China. The exchange supports more than 190 trading pairs, which are divided into 3 main markets: USDT, BTC and ETH. Of these three markets, BTC is the most saturated while USDT is the most scanty of all.

How To Register On Huobi

Although I have an existing account on Huobi but for the sake of the originality of this post and for those that might want to join the platform, I will show you a step-by-step method on how to open your own account.
Opening an account on Huobi is as easy as it gets with other cryptocurrency exchange markets. The following steps should be taken:

• Login to website: https://www.huobi.com ;

• Click “Sign up” on the top right of the page

• Choose “Country” and put into your mobile phone number in “Phone” blank or email as the case may be.
• Set your password and finally click “register”

• Verify your account by inputing the verification code sent to your email or phone number.

• Make sure that you also enable 2-factor authentication on your account to provide an extra level of security for your funds.

How To Trade On Huobi

To begin trading on Huobi after Account Creation, the first step is to buy cryptocurrency into your wallet. The following steps should be taken:

• Deposit funds into your account

You can trade HT against three other digital currencies — bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH) and Tether (USDT) — so you’ll need to first acquire one of these currencies.

• If you need to transfer BTC, ETH or USDT into your Huobi account from a separate wallet, hover your mouse over the “Balances” tab at the top of the screen and select “Deposit & Withdraw” from the drop-down menu. You can then choose the coin you want to use and click on “Deposit” to access the relevant wallet address.

• Buy HT:

Once the crypto funds have arrived in your account, click on the “Exchange” tab at the top of the screen. You can then click on the currency pair you want to trade, such as “HT/BTC,” and choose either a limit or market order.

• Enter the amount of HT you want to buy or the amount of BTC you want to spend. Make sure you review the full details of the transaction, including the total cost, before you click “Buy HT.”

Huobi market platform is user friendly and easy to navigate especially when using a P.C and it's exchange rates are scintillating for traders.
