Biden's Presidential malpractice on immigration policy.

  1. He is undoing whatever Trump did, whether it was working or not.
  2. He ended the practice of having would-be immigrants wait outside the U.S. until their asylum cases are adjudicated.
  3. He removed the disincentives that discouraged thousands of unaccompanied minors from flooding across our southern border.
  4. He stopped all border wall construction and repair.
  5. By mobilizing federal resources to open up more housing for unaccompanied minors, he has unintentionally encouraged thousands more to head north to our border.
  6. He doesn’t seem to have a clue as to the seriousness of the crisis he has created (or exacerbated) or what to do about it.
  7. He mistakenly believes that compassion is the primary value in setting immigration policy.

Our immigration policy should not be designed to inflict cruelty on migrants. Children should not be caged. But if the primary basis of our immigration policy is compassion, then we should just let everyone in whose life might be better in the U.S. than in their countries of origin. Why not let in all the millions or tens of millions of people from around the world who wish to live in America?

If you can’t answer that question, then you have no business formulating or implementing our country’s immigration policies and practices.
