Why the answers of our prayer delay

Prayer is the most important gift and great privileges we have in life. We have so many promises that confirm God hears and respond our prayer; as an example the bible says in the book of;

  1. Psalm 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

  2. Isaiah 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am.

  3. Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you

  4. John 16:23-24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Therefore, the bible teaches us God is faithful and if we pray we shall receive everything that we prayed for. If that is the case, why the answers of our prayer delay? That is the question.
