Kanyakumari-the southernmost part of mainland India.

Greetings Steemians!

Kanyakumari is a small town in the state of Tamilnadu. It was popularly known as Cape Comorin during the British Raj. It is situated at the southernmost tip of the Indian peninsula. Here tourist come to watch beautiful sunset and sunrise over the sea.
Kanyakumari has some attractions like India's fist wax museum, Vivekanand rock memorial, statue of ancient Tamil sage and poet Thiruvalluvar, Gandhi memorial etc.
