If anyone ever visit my hometown (Cuttack) do try this, it's one of the best thing to have. This is known as Dahi Bara Aalu Dum. It is prepared by soaking vadas (fried flour balls) in thick dahi (yogurt).

It is served with Aloo Dum. Aloo Dum is a potato based dish and is a part of the traditional Kashmiri Pandit cuisine, from the Kashmir Valley, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.
