(35.52) Sujit, the main editor of 'Rising Kashmir', was shot dead
Sujat Bukhari, editor of 'Rising Kashmir' newspaper in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, was shot dead outside his office. The exact reason behind the attack was that, it is not known initially. However, he was given police protection since 2000, in fear of the attack.
