IMAGINATION VS. REALITY

ABOUT THE PROBABLY LAST RIDE WITH THE METRO IN MUMBAI ...

A metro, already going,
WE 2 adventurers,
running to catch it and ready to jump in the already going metro.

ONE MISUNDERSTANDING!

Missing the first door ..

Trying to jump in the metro through the second door while the metro was already fast….too fast.

I jumped in the metro, swaying and I falling back but my friend pushes me inside and an indian family pulling from inside the metro.

While this all was happening very fast my friend stumbled and fell . . .

The metro left with me (without my friend) and a lot of indians inside who saw the whole drama.

After the family tried to tell me again and again something in hindi,

I didn't know if I should cry or laugh.

That was so insane…like the difference between how you think it is working out and how it is in reality.

At the next station I went off the metro with the indian family talking very excited to me in hindi and gave me signs that I should call my friend.

I realized that I hadn't got his indian number and had no other choice than waiting for him to come and hope that won't be too badly injured.

After 5 long minutes we had our reunion but had to hurry to get back to the hotel cause the train to Goa was leaving in less than an hour.

We reached our train sweaty and exhausted and sat down to relax.

This memory will stay and his scarf is remind him how he saved me.

Sometimes reality is totally different of what we thought ;)
