Stalking : This is a serious problem in our society. Women are stalked everywhere, in their local area, in their college, in their workplace etc. As we have seen in the past, stalking could lead to even acid attacks and deaths.
We had the case of an Infosys employee who was stalked and finally killed.[1]
We had Shruti Hassan complain, not so long ago, about someone stalking her[2]
This scares women.
Molestation (in society) : A lot of bawdy, lascivious folks out there are waiting for an opportunity to molest women. Women are molested everywhere, in public transports, in a crowded street, in cinema theatres etc. This is also something that scares them.

Inappropriate touching (in Closed circles) : Many women have still not opened up about their discomfort with “that" close relative, only because they are afraid of the consequences. Many relatives take advantage of their age and behave nastily. I know of many such examples.
They are yet to open up about their discomfort with a rather “uncouth” friend, only because they are afraid of being sidelined in their friends gang.
In fact, this scares women the most as they are hesitant to share such incidents even with family.
Good point helphand! Both men and women can should be able to speak out about these issues.
