We all know that Denmark is the world leader in wind energy production which brought a clean energy revolution worldwide but very fewer people know that there's an Indian State beat Denmark in wind energy production.
The Indian State which produces more wind power than Sweden or Denmark. "Tamil Nadu"
Indian State of Tamil Nadu is aggressively towards renewable energy. It's already in India's top five States in solar power production and in wind energy production it is on top.
Producing more than 33% of total wind energy in India, Tamil Nadu's wind turbines can produce 10% more electricity than Sweden. That is more than 30% of Denmark's wind energy production. With Such growth, Tamil Nadu will play a key role in India's renewable energy ambitions of 227 gigawatts by 2022
At this rate by 2027, more than half of all its electricity could come from renewables. If Tamil Nadu keeps growing its economy while cutting carbon emissions, It could be a climate leader for global emerging economies
The biggest question is can other Indian States follow its lead?
