Umaid palace perched high above the desert capital of Jodhpur . It's named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, this edifice has 347 rooms and serve as a principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family!
It was also called as Chittar palace during construction due to use of stones drawn from Chittar Hill.
There is a museum worth visiting!!
