On Monday, another milestone was added to women empowerment in India when Flying officer Avani Chaturvedi completed a solo flight in MiG-21 Bison fighter aircraft and became the first Indian woman pilot to achieve this. Indian Airforce has been trying very hard to work towards women empowerment and this feat has shown their commitment. I hope we can see more of “Nari Shakti” in the future in all the defense forces.
