How it initiated 

Few days back (23rd September 2018 to be specific) a mob of  Right-Wing VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) activists raided a rented home in the city of Meerut, India after they were tipped off about an interfaith couple (The right-wing mob loves to call interfaith relationships LOVE JIHAD). The couple who are classmates of the same nursing college and were studying together as claimed by them were harassed and assaulted by the mob in public until the City Police Force arrived to rescue them.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a rescue! 

What the police did with the girl

The Police Force made the couple sit in different vehicles and the Cops with the girl took a shameful step. The Policeman sitting on the driver's seat recorded a video inside the car, where he could be seen using abusive languages to the girl. The lady constable could be spotted thrashing the girl when another cop asks her "WHAT IS THE NECESSITY OF DATING A MUSLIM MAN WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY HINDUS AROUND" . After getting instructions from the front seat, the woman constable even removed the scarf which the girl was using to cover her face. 

What the Police department did after the Video went viral

The Police Department has suspended these cops after the video went viral on the internet. But I doubt how much strong message the Department is conveying the citizens with just issuing suspension orders for these "Criminal LAW KEEPERS"
