The Supreme court of India today made a historic judgement banning the unconstitutional islamic practice that allowed men to divorce their wives just by saying the talaq three times. This was a very good decision made by the court because the fundamental rights of the Indian women were violated due to such practices.There has been many cases where the women were told talaq through skype or whatsapp and many women went to the court appealing to end such practices.
This may be said as one of the major reforms since freedom.There were mixed reaction from the citizens and politicians of the country.
