- To keep development as well as taking necessary care of environment GOI planned to use lithium ion batteries instead of lead batteries following it's hazardous effect on health and environment.
The shift towards lithium ion batteries from the older lead acid batteries have allowed forms like Kaho India Private Limited to help the centre achieve its rural electrification target.
