According to Assocham, "International tourists are very conscious about their health and safety and due to such negative development in Delhi, the city will exit the international tourist map."

From January to July, about 56.74 lakh foreign tourists came to India in 2017. According to the Ministry of Tourism, this number has increased due to electronic visa. It is to be seen now that the peak season like November and December are called the figures. According to Pranab Sarkar, Indian Association of Tour Operators, the poison of pollution has started appearing on the tourism sector. Although the tourism industry of India had improved in the early months of the year.
In winter, people from other parts of the country also come to visit Delhi. According to Assocham, the contaminated air of Delhi is also going to be high on the number of domestic tourists, "Even domestic tourists are also making a distance from Delhi, foreign tourists take care of clean tourism more than these."

Tour operators of North India, including Delhi are getting disturbed If foreign tourists do not come then it will also affect the taxi and hotel industry. It has negative impact on the tourism and millions of jobs in the transport sector.
However, Assocham says that a large number of tour has not yet been filed for canceling the tour. But it is believed that in the coming days foreign tourists will be apprehensive about Delhi.
