Hornbill Festival is celebrated during the first fortnight of December. Popularly known as the ‘Festival of Festivals’, this annual celebration is held at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama near Kohima. The objective of the festival is to celebrate the rich culture of Nagaland and many tribes come together during the celebration.
Hornbill Festival offers a beautiful glimpse to Nagaland. This extravaganza of local traditions also offers a lot in terms of art, music, sports and food. Dances, performances and ceremonies go on till the evenings. Photo enthusiasts have a lot to catch up during the festival.
