A total of 58 Indian Army personnel performed a daredevil act of riding on a single 500cc Royal Enfield bike over a distance of 1,200 meters. The feat was conducted at the Indian Air Force base in Bengaluru by a team of Army Service Corps also known as ‘Tornadoes’.
The riders were dressed in the India tri color and were led by Major Bunny Sharma on the vanguard with Subedar Rampal Yadav steering the bike which had all the other 56 personnel standing on flanks attached to the Royal Enfield bike.
This spectacular display got the Army personnel entry into Guinness Book of World Records, Limca Book of Records and Unique World Records at Yelahanka. This is not the first time that the Army team has shown their prowess at performing such a feat.

The ASC team appeared at the 9th Asian Games in 1982 in Delhi and has performed at over 1000 shows across the globe. They currently hold 19 global and national records among which is also one in which 56 persons rode a motorcycle in 2010.
This record achieved by the 150 strong team saw them practice for over 10 months, sometimes sacrificing sleep and family time but their efforts paid off with them gaining a 20th record of the largest number of people on a moving object.
