THE CONSCIENCE LEARNS
A friend of mine read one of my posts titled "Nothing is absolutely right". According to him, he agreed that I was able to prove my point logically and philosophically, that if same action like homosexuality is wrong in Nigeria but right in the USA then nothing is absolutely right that it is only the laws in a country that confer legitimacy on an action.
He however said that there are some actions like murder that by default our consciences won't accept except we have been indoctrinated.
If you ask me, I don't think there is anything like default perception of anything. We learn perceptions including the perception that taking another man's life is wrong.
Some communities don't kill snakes. People in that community believe it is wrong and when this is the case, they may think that it is default in them that killing snakes is wrong but if you go to another place they kill snakes and use them for pepper soup, you may think it is default in them to enjoy snake pepper soup.
The world is a small village. We were told that taking a man's life is wrong, we believed it and begin to think it is default in us. It isn't. If we were born with this feeling, then the police guys that shots criminals to death shouldn't celebrate. But the general public celebrates at the death of a criminal because our consciences have been taught that in this instance it shouldn't feel bad. If we were not told that murder was bad, we probably wouldn't have thought it was bad.
I believe we feel bad at some issues because of what we were taught.
Conscience feelings that come from inside and you can feel your emotions and it do effect a lot, great content and thanks for sharing
