Baharuddin, a young leader of Blang Me Village, Kuta Blang sub-district, Bireuen, Aceh deserves an award as an environmentally conscious young man, as he has proved that the planting is not merely ceremonial, but certainly grows to protect the Peusangan River through in Blang Me village.
In December 2016, BPDASHL, FDKP, AGC implemented planting on the banks of the Peusangan River, at Blang Me village. Baharuddin who is also the Treasurer of Blang Me Village with Keuchik Blang Me Village, Basri Ibrahim also succeeded the planting initiated together to save the Peusangan River.

In February 2018 yesterday, Baharuddin resumed planting on the banks of the Peusangan River carried out jointly with BKPH Jeumpa, FDKP and AGC. The planting is a form of Baharuddin's commitment to guard the Peusangan River through the village, where Baharuddin lives.
Seeds of Pete, Pinang and Sengon planted in the village land are seeds from the People's Bibit Garden Blang Me. In 2017, FDKP recommended one group in Blang Me village to receive KBR from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia in 2017.
Before recommending Blang Me Village as the recipient of KBR, FDKP must first provide conditions that must be done by Blang Me Village, where the seeds of KBR will have to be planted to protect the Peusangan River from abrasion, if necessary, along the Peusangan River planted various trees that can save resident of Blang Me resident.
Baharuddin again proved his commitment to keep watershed Peusangan crossing Blang Me Village. Baharuddin done with members of his group utilize village land to plant trees that are useful ecologically and economically, may Baharuddin cs hard work to fruition.
