Understanding Language Learning and Learning
Language learning activities involve aspects of language, language learning, and language learning. The following definitions will link these aspects to understanding language learning.

Diversity of the language sense expressed by the experts discussed with different backgrounds. However, from some opinions that have the distinction, there is basically similarity that language is a means of communication between social beings in the world. Djarjowidjojo (2003: 16) defines language as an arbitrary oral symbol system used by members of a language society to communicate and interact with each other, based on the culture they share. Another opinion of Kridalaksana (2008: 24) defines language as an arbitrary sound symbol system used by a community member to cooperate, interact and to identify.
- Language Learning
Humans have learned languages since ancient times, especially those needed in communicating with family and with others around them. So, to be able to live as a social mahklu, man must be equipped with the ability to communicate with his mother tongue.
Learning a language that is not the first language is called a second language or a foreign language. It is known from experience that learning a second language is difficult, both languages spoken generally in the wider community (not household languages) or languages spoken only by foreigners. The two kinds of languages that are not the first buhasa are called technically "the second language" (used by the public in general) and the "foreign languages" (which are not used by society in general). For such a difficult learning process the "simplified procedure" or so-called "methodology" needs to be sought and developed in real life.
