Durian memang menjadi khas masyarakat indonesia pada umumnya dan kususnya bagi masyarakat Aceh. Sering kita jumpai dan mudah didapatkan dipasar-pasar,kebiasaan terjadi dalam setahun dua kali berbuah.
Adapun enaknya buah durian membekas dimulut dan baunya begitu mengoda, seperti siti badriah pernah menyanyikan lagu yang judulnya "BELAH DURIAN", saya juga akan membuat sebuat puisi.
Wahai durian,,
Engkau bagaikan seorang wanita
Baumu harum, membuat diriku tergoda
Enaknya dirimu, membuat diri ini selalu ingin mencoba
Dirimu tertutup yang begitu terpesona
Ku lihat durimu sangatlah berbahaya
Engkau tertutup bak seorang wanita muslimah
Didalam dirimu ada rasa yang tiada tara.
