Jengkol muda apabil di makan dijadikan lalap sangat nikmat sekali,yang sudah tua pun bisa di madak semur atau di sayur ,jegkol banyak sekali bisa diolah seperti krupuk,makanan ringan dan sebagainya.memang jengkol aromanya sangat agak tidak sedap untuk bau mulut tetapi makanan ini sangat banyak yang menyukai karna rasanya yang nikmat,jengkol ini tidak setiap hari ada karna emang ada musim berbuah dan tidak berbuah,tetapi biasanya setiap kota suka ada saja musim bergantian
