Canaries or Serinus Canaria, the name is taken from its home area of the Canary Islands. Discovered first by a sailor Jean Bertahan Cout in the 15th century.
This bird was impressed by the beauty of the fur and the sound. The many species of canaries that exist today is the development of wild walnut descendants by the name of Serinus Canarius. The diversity of these species is the result of cross-breeding that occurred since 5 centuries ago or could be due to natural conditions.
The Netherlands, which is now better known as the Indonesian walnut exporter, originally brought in walnuts from England, Belgium and Germany. Then the walnuts are crosslinked with wild walnuts and produce several types such as scoth fancy, norwich, london fancy, border fancy, lancashire, gloster, yorkshire etc.
