    World cancer day is a memorable date celebrated each year on 4 February. Proclaimed the "International Union against cancer" (international Union against cancer) (UICC). The purpose of this international day is to raise awareness about cancer as one of the most terrible diseases of modern civilization, drawing attention to the prevention, detection and treatment of this disease.

    The international day of protection of cancer indicates the public on the challenges facing the world in the fight against cancer and encourages politicians and organizations that are members of UICC to treat cancer, as a political priority.
