Hai,, stemian
Back again in my blog,
I endlessly share information with my stemian friends
This time I'm giving information on how the nurse does his job
The nurse is someone who plays a role in caring for or nurturing, assisting and protecting someone who is sick, injury and peruses aging.
Professional Nurses are responsible nurses and have the authority to provide nursing services independently and / or collaborate with other health personnel in accordance with their authority (Ministry of Health RI, 2002 in Aisiyah 2004).
According to UU RI No. 23 of 1992 on Health, defining Nurses are those who have the ability and authority to act nursing based on the knowledge they have, obtained through nursing education.
Meanwhile, according to the international Council of Nurses (1965), a nurse is a person who has completed a nursing education program, authorized in the country concerned to provide services and responsible for improving health, prevention of disease and services to patients.
Role of Nurse
It is the behavior expected of others by someone according to the position in the system, which can be influenced by the social circumstances both from the nursing profession and from outside the nursing profession which is constant.
Nurse Function
In running its role, nurses will perform various functions including:
a. Independent Functions
Is an independent function and not dependent on others, where nurses in carrying out their duties are done alone with their own decisions in action in order to meet basic human needs such as fulfillment of physiological needs (fulfillment of oxygenation needs, fulfillment of fluid and electrolyte needs, fulfillment of nutritional needs, fulfillment needs activities and others), the fulfillment of security and comfort needs, the fulfillment of love love, the fulfillment of self-esteem needs and self-actualization.
b. Dependent function
Is a nurse function in carrying out activities on the message or instruction of other nurses. So some of the task delegation is given. This is usually done by a specialist nurse to the public nurse or from the primary nurse to the nursing nurse.
c. Interdependent Functions
This function is done in a team of teams that are interdependent among teams with each other. This function can occur if the form of service requires teamwork in the provision of services such as in providing nursing care in patients who have complex diseases. This situation can not be solved with a team of nurses but also from doctors or others.
Duty Nurse
The duty of the nurse in performing her role as nursing caregiver can be done according to stages in nursing process. The nurse's duties were agreed upon in a 1983 workshop based on the nurse's function in providing nursing care.
