Komodo dragons are carnivorous and scavenger (carnivorous) animals and are a superior carnivore in their ecosystem.
Komodo dragons are sometimes captured live prey by hiding and ambushing, the source of the food is carrion.
Komodos have easier sight and hearing for smell for the purpose of potential prey.
Komodo has a long tongue branching yellowish and sharp colors.
Komodo has a round muzzle, strong legs, and a muscular tail. They have an area of power but rarely fight to keep it.
Komodo dragons season usually lasts during July and August. In September, the females are able to ground the eggs.
The egg hole is then covered with leaves and parent silent on it to aid the hatching process.
After about 8 months, the eggs then hatch and the parent no longer cares for the baby. Baby dragons immediately released its mother to live independently.
When newly hatched, a child is about 37 cm in size. They are vulnerable to predation by adult dragons, birds, and mammals.
For this reason, Komodo dragons prefer to live on trees that provide protection against predators until they are large enough to defend themselves.
