Hari megang diadakan pada hari sebelum puasa dan hari raya, pada hari ini miskin kaya semua makan daging dan pada hari ini harga daging pun lebih murah jadi bisa di beli oleh orang kurang mampu.
Di aceh hari megang adalah hari yang seru dimana kita bisa kumpul kumpul sama keluarga dan kita makan sama sama.
