The Extraordinary Prambanan Temple

Yeah come back again with me in this cloudy afternoon like my friends know, in the previous post I have discussed about Borobudur Temple. And this time I will also give a little information about the temple as well but this is different from the previous temple, the Prambanan Temple I directly we cuss down.

Yeah kembali lagi dengan saya di sore yang mendung ini seperi yang teman-teman tahu, pada postingan sebelumnya saya telah membahas tentang Candi Borobudur. Dan kali ini saya juga akan memberikan informasi sedikit tentang Candi juga tetapi ini berbeda dengan candi sebelumnya, yaitu Candi Prambanan langsung saya kita cuss ke bawah.

Prambanan Temple or commonly called Roro Jonggrang temple is a hindu temple complex that was built around the 9th century AD. This temple was built to be dedicated to 3 gods * Shiva * (god of destruction), * Brahma * (god of creator), and * Vishnu * (god keeper). The original name of this temple complex is * Siwagrha * which means the house of Shiva.

Candi Prambanan atau biasa disebut Candi Roro Jonggrang ini adalah kompleks candi hindu yang dibangun pada sekitar abad ke-9 Masehi. Candi ini dibangun untuk dipersembahkan kepada 3 dewa yaitu Siwa (dewa pemusnah), Brahma (dewa pencipta), dan Wishnu (dewa pemelihara). Nama asli kompleks candi ini adalah Siwagrha yang mempunyai arti rumah Siwa.

This temple complex is located in the district of Prambanan, the location of this temple is very unique that is located in the border between the Central Java Province and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Distance from Surakarta is 50 kilometers southwest.

Kompleks Candi ini terletak di kecamatan Prambanan, letak candi ini sangat unik yaitu berada persisi di perbatasan antara Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Jarak dari Surakarta adalah 50 kilometer arah Barat daya.

This temple includes a UNESCO World Heritage site, and also one of the most beautiful temples of Southeast Asia. The architecture of this temple is slim high in accordance with the Hindu Architecture in general. And has a height reaching 47 meters looming in the middle of the complex.

Candi ini termasuk situs Warisan Dunia UNESCO, dan juga sekaligus salah satu candi terindah Se-Asia Tenggara. Arsitektur candi ini adalah tinggi ramping sesuai dengan Arsitektur hindu pada umumnya. Dan memiliki ketinggian mencapai 47 meter menjulang di tengah komplekas.
