Parents are sometimes confused to teach children about the differences between boys and girls. This gender difference must be introduced early so that children understand how to interact with the opposite sex. Parents need not be shy or confused to tell boys about girls. Teaching boys about girls initially is uncomfortable, but chats must begin with openness and honesty. Parents can teach children to understand and respect the female body. Here are tips for boys' parents when teaching about different sexes.

1. Accurate
   Use technical and anatomical terms for the child's body. Mention the names of the limbs that characterize the sex, such as the penis and vagina. Do not use a term like a bird for a penis because parents should instill a correct understanding to the child.

2. Obviously
   Generally, parents feel uncomfortable telling children about the difference between the sex of boys and girls. If the child asks for details, do not reply with a rambling explanation because it will confuse the child.

3. Concise
   Answer each child's questions in brief and simple, easy-to-understand ways.

4. Scientific
   Explain the difference between boys and girls with simple facts. This method will make it easier to understand. Showing an anatomical picture side-by-side for comparison is much more useful.

5. Cultivate respect
   Parents should notify the child while physically there are different but boys should not look at girls as something else. It is important for the child to understand how he should treat the girl. Do not differentiate in play and emphasize that girls and boys are different, but still get along.

For elementary school-aged children, they need to understand the meaning of privacy, humility, and how to respect and protect the boundary between boys and girls. While in adolescents, children must understand the age of puberty and the changes in the body. They need to learn about a girl's body changes as well. Poor and hurtful behavior can be reduced if boys know and understand what a girl's age is. A boy who understands the natural development of the breasts and menstruation is much less likely to mock, seduce girls because they understand the differences in the anatomy of development.
