This mosque was built during the government of Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607 - 1636 AD) at the top of the building pre-islamic. In terms of acrhitecture, Indrapuri mosque was influenced by Hindu culture that is visible from the terraced roof form - level. Indrapuri mosque had been used to convert the Sultan Muhammad Daudsyah in 1878 AD as the Sultan who was the Sultan of Aceh last.
