The inequality argument is a straw man! People are going to have more or less money based on their education and chosen profession. A doctor is going to make more than a cashier at Walmart, this is a given. The difference, the doctor has a skill that the market demands and people will seek this doctor’s expertise in the medical field when they are looking for a healthcare provider. The person working as a cashier is a dime a dozen. Someone that starts a business, and expands that business , and it’s goods/services to more and more people, may eventually make a lot of money. A person that flips burgers at McD’s is not going to make that much. One must recognize that some people do not want to start a business, or be a doctor. They might be perfectly happy being a dog sitter/walker because that is what brings them joy. Money does not = happiness. Thor that make a lot of money, are generally those that have went the extra mile and exceeded expectations,. They have showed initiative and they are rewarded for their initiative. This does not make them evil or greedy, it just makes them smart. Those that are go getters, those that go out and do, are the ones that will be financially blessed. This is not to say that there is anything bad about flipping Burgers or being a cashier, it only emphasizes the different choices that we all make based on our interests and desires. Inequality is a farce!
