Canadian company Newegg, specializing in sales of personal electronics and computer equipment, canceled payment of its goods by bitcoin, which was opened in 2013.
Referring to the representative of the company, the user of Reddit claims that Newegg, one of the first large retailers who started taking bitcoin, will no longer offer it to customers as payment on its Newegg.ca platform.
According to the representative of the company, the team does not have the details, but "bitcoin is no longer available on Newegg.ca".
Perhaps, the actions of Newegg are connected with the statement of the largest processing company for payments in bitcoins BitPay, which said on May 31 that it will no longer be able to support the calculations in Canadian dollars, and users from Canada will have to withdraw funds in bitcoins or US dollars.

There are some great alternatives to Bitpay, such as CoinPayments , which also supports many altcoins as well.
