Massive shift in party preference explains why Trump won

in informationwar •  6 years ago

A great analytical piece in the WSJ (https://www.wsj.com/articles/americas-manufacturing-towns-once-solidly-blue-are-now-a-gop-haven-1532013368?mod=e2tw) explains better than anything else I've seen why Trump won. After 1992 elections, 15 of 20 manufacturing-intensive congressional districts were represented by democrats, today all 20 are run by the GOP. Courtesy of the idiotic democrat party identity politics that abandoned the white working class.
